ShellterWOOD.: “We build real estate that is not fixed”
On the 13th of April king Willem-Alexander opened the World Horticultural Exhibition Floriade Expo 2022 in Almere. The Dutch horticultural sector shows, together with national and international participants, green solutions about how to make our cities more fun, more liveable and more sustainable.
At the opening of the Floriade, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander gazes admiringly at a building composed of 34 identical parts. It is built with wood and glass. The king is explained that it is a circular building that can be dismantled, stored and reused elsewhere after six months. An example of sustainable technology, designed and installed by the Belgian company Shellterwood.
