ShellterWOOD.: “We build real estate that is not fixed”

RETIE – “ShellterWOOD. is the marriage between the event sector and traditional housing.” Construction company WOODinc from Retie and event builder Shellter from Mol jointly design and build temporary buildings that are easy to tear down and rebuild.

At the opening of the Floriade, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander gazes admiringly at a building composed of 34 identical parts. It is built with wood and glass. The king is explained that it is a circular building that can be dismantled, stored and reused elsewhere after six months. An example of sustainable technology, designed and installed by the Belgian company Shellterwood.
